China has been widely recognized as a future superpower in the world economy. China's economy ranks second views of the value of gross domestic product after the United States [1]. China is also the country with the largest export in the world [2].
We see themselves in our country, the Chinese people are known as people who are good at business and trade. Almost all of them entered the industry line and many hold important roles there. Rarely do we find the Chinese in our country to be 'houseboy', though most of them being small-time boss. I wonder what their secret?
When talking about the secret Chinese business skills, then of course I do not know much. But I just wanted to share the experience of visiting and working in the bamboo curtain. IT company where I work entrusted to handle an IT project by Petrochina. So me and the team set off to the city of Xi'an, Shaanxi province, for the task. During the project there own I feel different working atmosphere in the ground water, in addition to weather differences also are quite striking.
The early days of working there, I was clumsy adjust. Section 07.30 of my morning and the team has been picked up by a special shuttle from office. Do you imagine there as 07.30 07.30 atmosphere in Jakarta. It was still dark, the sky was black with a little whitish. It was only natural for the dawn prayer was 06.30. Needs to be underlined that China is implementing a system of time zones, so it is reasonable in the majority there are discrepancies between the biological clock and a sundial.
The trip from the hotel to the office takes about half an hour. I and the team arrived at the office around 8 Petrochina and it was still a bit dark, not yet seen the sun. And guess what, office workers have started to work when the gathering even though not all.
12.00 time for a break, most of the employees out for lunch and returned at 13:00. A small portion of which are still visible in the boardroom and some are choosing a nap at his desk. I and the team even when it chose to stay in office because uninitiated halal food stalls around the office. Forced, nyeduh instant noodles that we brought from the homeland. Until 16:00 o'clock came, for me and the team, it was time to go home. However, our supervisors and other employees no signs of wanting to finish the job. We were a bit tired. hungry (because only eat instant noodles) and felt it was entitled to return even feel upset, because there is no return shuttle information and other employees are still busy working. Although I was somewhat reluctant to ask our supervisor who was French. Turns shuttle return scheduled at 17:30 every day. Wow. It is still one and a half hour. What can make, I went back to work while waiting for a bit of confusion at 17.30.
Until 17:30 finally arrived, time to go home. However reappear cheekily, because the average of the other employees still engrossed-masyuk work. Indonesian people at this hour already relaxing at home, I thought. But we still go home for fear of the driver pick up over time to wait. But we've also worked a bit heavy to go home rather late, at 18.00 more. And it turns out that much was at an average of employees there began berpulangan. And keep in mind when the sky was dark. Came when it was still dark, come home when it is dark. So, if we count, they worked from 8:00 until 18:00, at least 10 hours a day! If in Indonesia has been a workaholic levels.
Yes, that's one thing I feel most of the Chinese people during my work there, namely their high work ethic. They also work seriously, and not lazy. This is probably one of the things that so recipes success of China into a superpower that rival European countries and America.
For Muslims live, work ethic and high productivity as well as the suggestion mengotimalkan time as possible, often emphasized by Allah and Rasulullah SAW Shallahu'alaihi. Productivity even for a Muslim is not just in the search for the world alone, even when the time and energy devoted to reach the hereafter is reckoned productive.
Hopefully sharing this little useful.
